The Forensic Manager will be responsible for overseeing the forensic line of service that provides treatment within multiple criminal justice settings. This position will collaborate with multiple law enforcement and criminal justice agencies to implement and maintain treatment services within these settings.

The Program Supervisor for SummitStone’s AIIM and Wellness Court programs works collaboratively with with several criminal justice agencies including the 8th Judicial District Courts, Larimer County Community Corrections, Probation, The District Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office and several law enforcement agencies.

Provide direct professional services (via in-office or telehealth) for the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents. To evaluate, diagnose and treat the entire range of psychiatric disorders. To provide continuing medication management for assigned clients. To function as the medical team representative on a multidisciplinary treatment team designed to offer comprehensive behavioral health services.

Provides direct nursing service and supervises health related aspects of care. Provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care services. Evaluates and monitors clients for medication side effects. Coordinates medical care and intervention with staff and psychiatrist. Provides clinical assessment/problem identification, crisis interventions, individual, family and group therapy and case management. Develops and monitors treatment plans, monitors progress, documents significant interactions and maintains clinical charts and other reporting data.

Duties include milieu management, brief counseling interventions, psychoeducation and activities groups, and treatment planning within a Crisis Stabilization Unit setting. The supervisor will work in conjunction with the Program Manager and medical provider to supervise line staff such as nurses, case managers and clinical discharge planner.
